Some Fitness Problems

The sad truth is health and fitness industry has become more and more about marketing and sales and to a lesser extent to provide quality information, products and services. Of course, has always played a prominent role in the sale of health and fitness, but these days, so that the sale is more important than ever. It is now common for companies and individual sellers spend most of their time and energy developing the best points of sales and marketing tactics in comparison with the development of better products and services. In other words, health and fitness has become less about how to help you succeed in achieving its goals and more about finding ways to deal with to buy your product or service, regardless of whether they benefit or not.

Know that there are many wonderful and qualified people in the health and fitness which put the needs of its customers and provide customers with products and services first major. However, the problem is that most of the information and messages in these days do not come directly from the sources of quality. In contrast, the majority people see and hear the information to business or individuals trying to convey a specific message to make the sale. As a result, information is biased and is often designed to deal with your feelings, and / or strengthening of a company or a specific point of view the organization. To make things worse, and persuasive in many cases these messages to appear neutral and information, even if in fact they only targeted ads.

This biased and misleading or false in many cases, blatantly, health information and fitness to be a source of great concern, because people are exposed to so many half-truths and conflicting messages, the end result is often just increased the confusion and frustration. Add to this confusion, even if the information is correct, exercise and nutrition information is often presented in more than a year, which refers to things like no one best way to exercise and eat better and therefore should be followed in all parts of the world. Many of the health and fitness information does not apply only to some people or situations and there is no single approach works best for all, regardless of what the vendors want you to believe. Each person is unique and the practice of nutrition or information that could be useful to a person unable to work for someone else.

It’s a shame that he will take lot of information, manipulative, or incorrectly used, because a large proportion of health and fitness industry to learn more about the practice of constantly, and nutrition, and other matters relating to the Commission’s work and use that information to help others. Researchers conducting the continued testing and publishing books and articles that provide direct and accurate information on matters such as how to train for specific goals, and how to recover after exercise or injury, and how certain foods, food affects health. Other people, including the vehicles of high quality trainers and nutrition experts that this information along with practical experience and transfer their knowledge to others. All of these people are working to provide valuable information and transfer of health and fitness industry in a positive direction.

The big problem is that it can be very difficult to separate honest people to provide information on the quality of the people and the Declaration on the establishment of false or misleading information. One issue is that people who provide information on education and people who are trying to sell products of science, both used to support what they say. Often used people in the health and fitness through scientific data or refer to scientific studies to make others believe their rights are made. Unfortunately, it is easy to deal with the data in the scientific study and used to provide evidence to support the things that never were, in fact, by supporting the study of origin. Additionally, to make things worse, people who use scientific studies to promote health and fitness or beliefs to promote their products, and often do not truly understand, even in scientific research or the methodology behind it.

For example, years ago I was invited to attend a seminar on health through phone and an expert on physical fitness. Enter never attended any of the professional conferences, and I have not heard of it, but people seem to pay to fly across the country to make his presentation. In any case, he pointed to studies and research throughout the presentation to give credence to what he said, but it was clear he had no actual knowledge of the studies, or even how to conduct the investigation. Try to use the data to support the things that have nothing to do with the study also attempted to create causal relationships that were not even supported by the data. He is basically a complete farce of the investigation, but since it was perceived as an expert and the public was basically people health and fitness, without prior knowledge, we do not have reason to doubt what he said.

This is just one of many examples of people who are not qualified to provide information for studies, but the show was very me over the years. At that time, it was still early in my life, and I can not believe that the person who has a misunderstanding of what is supply and can be considered an expert in health and fitness. He added to his knowledge, weak scientific research, and it also made false statements about how different types of exercise affect the body. I still do not know if it simply does not have the facts ranks or intentionally made false statements because he was promoting their program-specific operations and make every possible effort to convince the public that his was better than other training programs. In any case, it was clear that he was providing inaccurate information, but it was still considered by the successful, an expert on this subject (at least by some), just because he was the charismatic and something of what he said would lead people to improve the habits of sports and nutrition. It is unfortunate that their presentations do not contain information really good.

I know it has gone a little off track, but I think that this is a great example of what is wrong with the health and fitness today. In short, there is a way to focus heavily on style (marketing and supply), and not enough substance (qualitative information). So that there is a growing feeling among some members of this industry that people do not want to learn about health and fitness and who want only to be told what to do. I am sure that this is true for some people, but it has been my experience that people are willing to learn about health and fitness as long as the information is useful and important in your life.

As mentioned above, even if you are looking to learn more about health and fitness can be difficult with all the relevant information within the currently available. Fortunately, you do not need a deep understanding of research methodology or a bachelor’s degree in physiology and exercise to determine whether the information is good or useful. However, there are some things that help you distinguish the good source of information of health and fitness that is essentially a glorified marketing campaigns.

First, we must not assume that just because a person is considered an expert, he / she will be a good source of information. Some experts and people who want to be seen as experts point out scientific studies or the use of technical terms or gradually developed to sound more wonderful or make you think they know what they are talking. Even if your 100% accurate, if you can not be understood clearly, it is not really useful to you. As is the case with the procedures and training programs, nutrition, and information that are beneficial to one person may be confusing or useless to another person. The most important thing to do when learning about health and fitness is whether the information actually makes sense to you and relevant to achieve their goals, needs and lifestyles.

Another thing to consider is that many publications and has designed offers and ads to appeal to their desires and emotional manipulation you feel about an issue, product or service, rather than really educate you. In these cases, and things that sound wonderful when you see or hear often provide little substance to back and take a closer look on them. It should be of good health and fitness information to be educational, meaning if you watch for the first time or fifth.

Health and fitness industry will always produce a certain amount of manipulation, false and misleading information or that can come from any person, regardless of their level of knowledge, or status within the industry. In the end, is really up to you to determine what information they want and expect from Member States in health and fitness in the community. My hope is that people are tired of all the claims and marketing great resonance and offers sleek and demanding more information about the quality of education. Then, can a health and fitness industry actually move in the direction of more positive and are able to help people really live in a healthier and happier.
